The Bulkeley Hotel

On the Historic Island of Anglesey, North Wales, The Bulkeley Hotel was built as a Georgian show piece in 1832. The hotel now has 43 en-suite bedrooms, a fine restaurant, coffee shop, Real Ale bars and lounges with log fires.

The Bulkeley serves a "Taste of Wales" and we pride ourselves on cooking the best of fresh local produce creatively, complemented by an extensive wine list.

The Bulkeley Hotel is yards from the beach and pier alongside the Menai Straits. It enjoys stunning views across the water to the mountains of Snowdonia, and sits 100 yards from the famous 13th Century Castle.

All 43 bedrooms including private suites and family rooms have full en-suite facilities, with colour TV, dataports, direct dial telephone, 24 hour room service and wake up calls. For your convenience all the rooms are furnished with a coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There’s a lift to all floors and we have facilities for our disabled guests.

The Bulkeley Hotel is an excellent venue for Wedding Receptions and Conferences, being able to accommodate up to 140 people in our Function Room. Individuality, flexibility and relaxation sum up our philosophy at the Bulkeley. We provide all the equipment you’ll need for your meeting or conference with a variety of rooms to choose from. We can host civil weddings for you and make all the necessary arrangements for your special day. Our Banqueting Manager would be happy to discuss your individual requirements from menus to music!
