In a superb position just two minutes walk from the large sandy beach at Lligwy is this lovely touring caravan and camping (tents) site. Situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).
Ideal for couples, friends or families wanting a relaxing break or an active holiday.
Open from Easter to October
Ideally located for visiting the whole of the Island, Snowdonia or the Ferry to Dublin.
The picturesque historic seaside village of Moelfre is a mile away with an active lifeboat station and seawatch centre.

An all grass site made up of 4 fields with mature native hedgerows.
It's natural landscape and its unspoilt character remain to this day.
It is a family owned site established in the 1930's.It is an uncommercialised site, no bar, clubhouse or childrens playground (the beach is 2 minutes walk).

All units are sited around the edge of the fields, with the fire break regulation spacing of 20feet/6metres between all units.

Electric Hook ups (16amp). All elecric hook up pitches are within 25 metres of an electric hook up point. Advisable to bring a 25 metre cable.
Drinking water points in all fields.
Chemical disposal points.

Security pedestrian and vehicle gates -operated by key fob (£10 deposit required).

ARRIVALS: After 2.00pm but no later than half an hour before sunset.
DEPARTURES: by 11.00am (late departure by arrangement only).

NO driving on, off or around the site after sunset and before 8am. Security gates allow 24hr pedestrian access with key fob. Car park for late arrivals and vehicles returning after sunset or leaving early in the morning.

NOISE: Radio, televisions, electrical gadets or music must be kept at a VERY LOW VOLUMN and must not at any time be audible outside your unit (caravan/tent etc.)

DOGS: Allowed on the following strict conditions:
Must be kept on a short lead at all times.
Exercised/walked off site not around th site - the beach is only 2 minutes walk away and allows dogs on it all year.
Not to be taken to or into any facilities.
Not left unattended at any time.
Any fouling is cleared up immediately

Lligwy Beach is a large sandy beach with rock pools and sand dunes very popular with families, water sport enthusiasts and anglers.
At low tide the remains of an ancient fish weir can be seen.
Dolphins and porpoises are often seen from the beach and coastal footpath.
Follow the coastal footpath from the beach along the cliff edge to the village of Moelfre or along cliffs, coves and beaches to Dulas Estuary where it turns inland to the Pilot Boat Inn.
Ten minutes walk from the site is the Ancient Monument site; the ancient villiage known as Din Lligwy Hut Group, where there is also a Neolithic and early Bronze Age burial chamber and a derelict 16th Century church.
One of the Islands five designated cycle paths goes past Dafarn Rhos and Lligwy Beach.

Moelfre a seaside village is one mile away - pub, general store, gift shop, coffee shop, cafe and restaurant.
Benllech is 3 miles away - 3 mini supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, garage, banks, chemist, butchers, hairdressers, newsagents, doctors and dentists.
