Coach House Faner is the ideal base for summer holidays and winter escapes. Situated on an organic smallholding just over half a mile from the Menai Straits on the edge of the village of Brynsiencyn in the south west corner of Anglesey. This area offers very easy access to the local Anglesey attractions and the mountains of Snowdonia. Beautiful sandy beaches of Llanddwyn are close by and owners offer a pass key for parking at this forest site. There are many footpaths and cycle tracks over the island for those looking for fresh air activities.
This modern cottage has underfloor central heating and has been designed with the needs of wheelchair users and the less mobile in mind, with ramp access and wide doors throughout.

Ground floor

Kitchen/ breakfast room

The attractive kitchen is well equipped with an electric double oven with gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. There is a breakfast table with seating for four.

Lounge/ dining room

The large patio doors present a light, airy lounge, perfect for relaxing in this idyllic setting. A 32in LCD flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player, and internet access, a comfortable three seater leather sofa and a two seater leather sofa complete this comfortable lounge.

Bedroom 1

This master bedroom contains a super king size bed (or two twin beds as required), two bedside drawers and a wardrobe.

Bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 contains two twin beds, a chest of drawers and large wardrobe.

Bedroom 3

Full size bunk beds, armchair, small wardrobe and 21in flatscreen TV with built in Freeview.

Bathroom

The spacious wet room has full disabled facilities and contains a shower with seat and grab rail, a wash basin with grab rail, toilet and heated towel rail.

Utility room

The utility room contains the central heating boiler, a sink and washing machine.

Entertainment

The lounge has a 32in LCD Flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. Internet access is available at the property. Bedroom 3 has a 21in LCD Flat screen TV with built in Freeview.

Outside

Paved area outside the property, overlooking the garden has a garden table and seating for four. Whilst dogs are not accepted, nearby kennels offer overnight boarding. This is a no smoking property. Don't forget your wellies if you want to feed the ducks and chickens or help look for eggs!

The surrounding area

On Anglesey, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re planning a family day out with the kids or a relaxing afternoon on one of our lovely sandy beaches, we hope you like some of the suggestions below:

Brynsiencyn

Brynsiencyn is a quiet village in the South West corner of Anglesey, there is a convenience store and the Groeslon pub provides a variety of home cooked meals and real ale. It is easy to spend a whole day exploring the countryside here but you might take to the sea as boat trips can easily be arranged.
Plenty for children to enjoy too! From the cottage, you can stroll along the Menai Strait, take a walk down the old pier (tide permitting), and enjoy hunting for crabs or fishing for something a little bigger! As well as the proximity to the pebble beach and sea. Coach House Faner is only a short walk from two of Anglesey’s main attractions, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park and Chocolate Shop. Tal y Foel Riding Centre is only a short drive away too.

West Coast

The west coast of Anglesey offers a wide variety of attractions and places to visit. We have some of the best beaches here. From Brynsiencyn by car along the A4080, a short drive to the village of Newborough and the beautiful sandy beach accessed through the stunning Newborough forest where you can enjoy long, leisurely walks beneath the trees and the miles of golden sandy beach which stretch between Abermenai Point on the Menai Strait and Llanddwyn Island in the north. Malltraeth has a fine estuary famous for its waterfowl and Aberffraw was once the seat of Welsh princes. A short walk through the wide expanse of dunes takes you to the glorious sands of Aberffraw beach. The beautiful beaches of Trearddur Bay, Rhoscolyn, and Porth Dafarch, are great for family days out. Rhosneigr is a famous water sport resort with a mouth-watering array of cafes and bistros.

Menai Bridge

Coach House Faner is only a short drive away from Menai Bridge, a small town famous for Thomas Telford’s magnificent suspension bridge. It is very worthwhile to walk over the bridge and enjoy the views of the Strait. There are also some very attractive walks through woodland to the water’s edge and a number of pubs and restaurants in the town –at Dylans Restaurant you’ll find good food, great service and a vibrant ambience, The Straits Restaurant offers a diverse menu to suit all tastes and pockets, while Sosban, within the historical Butcher’s Shop produce a dining experience a little different to most. For a beautiful breakfast/brunch, Stafford House Fine Food is well worth a visit.

Snowdonia

Across the Menai Strait are the mountains of Snowdonia which offer great opportunities for climbers, walkers, fell runners, mountain-bikers and naturalists. Llanberis is at the heart of Snowdonia: it is from here that the Snowdon Mountain Railway takes passengers to the new visitor centre at the summit.

East coast beaches

The East Coast of Anglesey offers a number of extensive golden beaches all along the A5025 such as Llanddona (quiet and remote), Red Wharf Bay, home to the famous Ship Inn which has a beer garden with a view to die for! Benllech’s sandy beach, great for swimming, windsurfing and sea-fishing. Traeth Bychan an east facing, sheltered beach popular with walkers along the Anglesey Coastal Path. Moelfre (famous for its lifeboat legacy) and Traeth Lligwy, a great family beach with shallow shelving making the sea perfect for children to paddle in!
