The property is situated 10 minutes from Junction 28 off the M4 or a 30 minute bus ride from Newport Train and Bus Station.

The 14 locks canal, walk and cycle path is to the rear of the property with idyllic views and easy access to the surrounding mountains and the rivers linked to the Sirhowy Valley.

To escape the stresses of city life this is the ideal location, offering mountain walks, cycling, horse riding, bird watching and many more pursuits.

Local attractions include Caerphilly Castle, Cardiff Stadium, Cardiff International Arena, Cwmcarn Scenic Drive and Forest providing wonderful examples of Wales at its best.

The property offers fully furnished accommodation including two luxury bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a stylish en-suite bathroom with luxury Jacuzzi bath for those romantic evenings or to just soak and drift away with oils provided.

The second bedroom has twin beds with bedside cabinets, lamps a wardrobe and mirror with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.

All bedding is provided and is of the best quality cotton and pillows are anti allergy and the quilts are of a 13.0 tog rating.

The newly fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, toaster and a wine cooler.

The downstairs bathroom is complete with a self contained shower / sauna unit with body jets and foot massager for the ultamate home spa experience.

The lounge/dinner has a comfortable sitting area comprising of a 3 seater settee which folds out into a king size bed settee and a 2 seater settee complete with scatter cushions. A 32" flat screen television, DVD player with a small selection of DVD’s and a DAB radio / CD player.

The main feature of the room is a traditional fire place which you can cosy up in front of with the safety logs for you to enjoy a real flame.

The property is an ideal basis and is within commuting distances to the cosmopolitan city of Cardiff with excellent public transport links. If you are looking for beaches we are approx 40 minutes drive from Barry Island made famous byt the TV hit Gainv and Stacey and approx an hours drive from Swansea, The Mumbles and a little further on The Gower.
