The Granary

The Granary has been tastefully converted and includes wooden floors and high vaulted ceilings throughout. We offer two luxury double en-suite rooms, and one, smaller, twin room.

Autumn is our larger double with kingsize bed, and its large en-suite has a double size shower. The room looks over the rear of the property and has lovely views.

Summer is a lovely room with huge en-suite bathroom including roll top bath and double shower.

Spring is a twin room, smaller than the other two, but still a lovely room with an en-suite shower. The view also overlooks the rear garden.

All rooms are complete with hospitality tray, colour tv, hairdryer and clock radio.

The Granary does not have a family room. However, our larger double room has space for an extra bed if needed. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair if required.

Conveniently placed midway between Hay-on-Wye and Brecon, it is ideal for the Hay Literary Festival, Brecon Jazz, the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and many other local events.

Joyce and Ray Shaw moved to The Granary in 2007. Since then they have been awarded a 5 star grading from Visit Wales and won the Gold Award for guest comfort and hospitality.
