Glasfryn Guest House offers a comfortable, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in beautiful countryside.

This friendly family run Guest House is situated in the centre of Brechfa village, in the very picturesque Cothi Valley at the edge of Brechfa Forest. The whole house is centrally heated,and rooms are en-suite or have private facilities. All rooms have complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV and a safe.

There is ample parking at rear of house and secure storage for mountain bikes etc. We offer bikers - bike wash facilities, safe and secure storage and drying facilities. Brechfa Forest provides some challenging mountian bike trails as well as being good for walkers and birdwatchers. Birdwatchers will find not only garden birds but they may also see Buzzard and Red Kite and Sparrowhawk. There is fishing for trout, Salmon and Sewin on the Cothi and Towi.

We are ideally situated for touring, Mid, South and West Wales. Carmarthenshire has many castles and heritage sites. Dylan Thomas's Boathouse at Laugharne, Roman Goldmines at Dolaucothi, National Botanic Gardens of Wales are a short drive away. There are many beautiful beaches within easy reach as well as a motor racing circuit. There are numerous tourist attractions for all ages and abilities
