Our comfortably furnished farm house is conveniently located and provides the perfect base for exploring the beautiful counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Powys and the Brecon Beacon National Park. Whether you are on holiday or taking a short break, there are many attractions in the locality, such as RSPB Dinas, Lynn Brianne Reservoir, Carreg Cennen Castle, the National Trust Newton House and Dinefwr Park, and Dolaucothi Gold Mines. The Royal Welsh Showground is also a short distance away.
The area is ideal for all types of activity, whether it be walking, cycling, horse riding, carriage driving, bird spotting, or sightseeing.
A spacious beamed lounge, with a cosy log fire, is available for guests to use at any time of the day and is the perfect place in which to relax after a busy day's activity, or you can choose to read a book, play a board game, or watch a dvd.
We have two double en suite bedrooms, both recently decorated with Millbrook pocket sprung mattresses; a twin bedded en suite room and a single bedroom with sole use of an adjacent bathroom. All bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities, digital colour television. and toiletries. There is free wi-fi internet access throughout the house.
A substantial breakfast (consisting of juice, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, and traditional cooked breakfast using our own free range eggs) is served in our light and airy breakfast room, or can be served on the decking, weather permitting. Vegetarian options, or special dietary needs, can be catered for on request.
A two, or three course home cooked evening meal, using fresh locally sourced produce and our own home grown vegetables (when available) is available by prior arrangement. You are welcome to bring wine to accompany your meal.

A woodland walk, with a natural waterfall, leads to the top of the hill behind the house, where glorious views of the Brecon Beacons can be seen. Red Kites and Buzzards are regularly seen circling overhead, or landing in the ancient oak trees which stand on the hillside.
There are lots of places to enjoy a picnic, perhaps have a bbq, or to just sit, relax and take in the spectacular views.
Why not bring your horse on holiday? We have four large rubber matted stables, together with a turnout paddock and direct access to spectacular outriding (or carriage driving) in the Crychan and Halfway Forests, leading through to the Epynt Way (see website link). A large car park is available for storing horse boxes.
The Forests also provide miles of marked routes for walkers and cyclists. A secure garage is available for bicycles. (Bicycles can also be hired locally.)
Well behaved dogs are welcome - there are lots of places to walk them locally.
We have dogs ourselves, together with horses, Welsh badger faced sheep and chickens.
