The cottage is ideally situated for those who wish to travel by train. Conwy Rail Station is 0.2 miles away and according to Google would take and average of 5 minutes to walk to 12 Lower Gate Street. And with so much to see and do within Conwy town, there really is no need to bring the car.

The location is truly stunning, with the harbour and the ancient town walls to the front, step out of the cottage to see the majesty of Conwy Castle on your doorstep and just before it on the right the tasty Conwy mussel shop and museum. Fifty paces from the front door is the jetty for the tourist river boat scenic cruise.

For those of you who wish to venture outside of Conwy Town, Royal Oak Cottage is the perfect base to explore North Wales.

Follow the Sychnant Pass through Snowdonia National Park or you could venture over to Anglesey, the home of Wills and Kate, Duke & Duchess of Cambridge. But with so much to do within the picturesque and quaint town of Conwy you may just want to stay put and explore on foot!

Change over is normally on a Friday with a minimum stay of one week through the summer months and 2 or 3 nights at other times. You may arrive any time after 4pm. On arrival you will be met and given the keys to the property. On your day of departure, we ask that that you vacate the property by 10am, though there may be the option to extend depending on later occupancy.
