Bailea

The cottages at Bailea have recently been converted from an original 16th century buildings. They have been furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard with great attention to detail.

The Coach House - Sleeps up to 4, 2 bedrooms.

An exceptionally spacious and comfortable cottage, retaining much of the character of the original coach house.

The focal point of the sitting room is a magnificent stone fireplace with a great oak lintel and featured log effect electric stove. Beautiful antique oak window sills and floors are complimented with a quality brown leather sofa and chairs, oak long dining table and chairs and a TV/DVD.

The beautiful fully fitted oak kitchen is well equipped with a double sized "range style" electric oven and ceramic top, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, kitchen table and seating.

Downstairs there is a hand-crafted fitted en-suite bedroom with sumptuous king size bed and TV. The bathroom is a large wet/shower room with hand basin and toilet with wide doors for wheelchair access. Although the shower is spacious it does not have hand rails.

Upstairs is a very large bedroom with a king size bed and matching single bed, all beautifully dressed with coordinated fabrics. The bathroom is very generous with a large double shower, a bath and hand basin, heated towel rail and toilet.

The Coach House Cottage has a large patio area, with garden furniture, BBQ and amazing views over the Usk valley.

A utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble drier and drying area is shared with the Stable.

Bailea Stable - Sleeps 2, 1 bedroom.

A spacious and luxurious self catering cottage which retains the character of the original Stable and Granary.

The open-plan kitchen-lounge has a fully fitted oak kitchen with an induction hob, electric cooker and microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer. Slate coloured tile floor, oak beams and window sills, and a feature stone fireplace with oak lintel and an electric wood effect stove. Oak dining furniture and a carpeted seating area with comfortable cream leather sofas and a TV/DVD.

French doors open out onto a large patio with garden furniture and BBQ.

A flight of wooden stairs take you to a gorgeous bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, large double sized shower, heated towel rail, basin and toilet. The bedroom has a unique, antique chandelier, sumptuous king size bed and single bed, a television and again all beautifully coordinated fabrics on beds, curtains and upholstery.

A utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble drier and drying area is shared with the Coach House.

Regrettably both cottages are unsuitable for children, and no pets allowed.
