Y Beuno

Your Entry To The Llyn Peninsular

At Y Beuno, we pride ourselves on offering our guests a top class service. Visit Wales recently awarded us a Four Star rating for the standard of accommodation and customer service.

ACCOMMODATION

Lovingly and tastefully refurbished with your comfort in mind Y Beuno offers seven guest bedrooms in the old Grade II listed building.
All the rooms are fully equipped with TV, DVD, individually controlled heating, tea and coffee making facilities and homemade biscuits, complementary bottled water, morning newspaper and luxury toiletries. Children are most welcome – we have travel cots and can put an extra bed in some of the larger rooms. Each room has its own unique character and all have en-suite bathrooms – the Superior Rooms having walk-in showers.

OUR FAYRE

Y Beuno is renowed locally for its good food, selection of local ales and warm hospitality. Our French chef Christian aims to serve the best of local seasonal produce. He meticulously sources the very best available locally – some produce from locations that can actually be seen from Y Beuno: crab, lobster and fish caught daily in Caernarfon Bay, oysters and mussels from the nearby Menai Straits, Welsh Black beef, local organic lamb from the overlooking Rivals mountain side, local Welsh cheese and honey from Anglesey.
In his spare time Christian supervises the development of our kitchen garden which supplies us with some homegrown fruit, vegetables and herbs.
We also rear our own lambs, pigs and chickens on our farm a mile or so up the mountainside behind the hotel. We make our own sausages and burgers and bake our own bread daily. Even the children’s chicken nuggets and fish fingers are homemade!

CONFERENCING

Y Beuno is centrally positioned between the towns of Caernarfon, Porthmadog and Pwllheli with the main A499 on its door step. It is within 15 minutes of the main A55 dual carriage way, and 40 minutes from the ferry terminal and small airport at Holyhead.
Our conference room has lavish amounts of natural light with truly stunning views looking towards Ynys Mon. The room is suitable from one-on-one interview settings to up to 60 delegates in a theatre style setting. All equipment such as digital projector and screen, flip charts and t.v./audio equipment are readily available on request.
We can also organise team building activities from go-carting, clay-pigeon shooting, and sailing in Caernarfon Bay to outdoor activities in the spectacular Snowdonia mountain range. For more details on competitive delegate rates and availability, please contact our Conference and Banqueting department on Click to email or telephone 01286 660785.

WHAT TO DO

Y Beuno is an ideal base for exploring a whole range of outdoor activities: walking or climbing the dramatic mountains of Snowdonia; golfing at one of six scenic first class courses; river and sea fishing; sailing and water sports in one of the many fantastic beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula; cycling in beautiful countryside or coastal paths.
Or just relaxing and taking in the local scenery and stunning sunsets over a pint of local welsh ale or glass of wine.
