In the heartland of Anglesey relax and enjoy the wonderful panoramic views of the countryside and the Snowdonia Mountain Range at 'Drws Y Coed', meaning 'Door of the Wood'. We are a Welsh speaking family, running a 500 acre farm of beef cattle, sheep and cereal crops. It is situated in peaceful wooded countryside and is approached by two tarmac driveways, one of which is tree lined and in springtime is lined with daffodils, wild flowers and rhododendrons.
An ideal touring base for all the island's 125 miles of coastline. Anglesey has many unspoilt sandy beaches some exposed to the rolling Irish Sea breakers, ideal for surfing, whilst others are more sheltered and are safe for children of all ages.
Jane ensures a warm Welsh welcome into her beautifully appointed farmhouse which she has furnished to the highest standards. Tastefully decorated and furnished en-suite bedrooms with spacious bathrooms. They are most comfortable with television, clock radio, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer and central heating. Double, twin and family bedrooms are available.
An inviting spacious lounge to relax in with log fire, books, boardgames, television and video. An outbuilding houses a snooker table and table tennis.
There is a reputation for excellent freshly-cooked breakfasts, which are served in the cosy dining room, with separate tables. Special diets are catered for. There are other eating places nearby.
