Only 2 miles from the historic town of Ruthin in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, Plas Efenechtyd Cottage is the ideal base from which to explore North Wales. Snowdonia, the Welsh coast, Offa's Dyke Footpath and the Clwydian Way are all within easy reach.
Plas Efenechtyd Cottage Bed and Breakfast offers our guests comfortable en-suite accommodation in a delightful setting. Set in one acre of gardens, the cottage offers a choice of two double bedrooms or one twin bedroom, with stunning views out over the Clwydian Range. Our rooms are comfortably furnished and have TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom or shower room. There is also free WiFi available.

We believe in supporting local businesses and in using quality food so our bread is homemade, so is the granola and the marmalade and jam. Dave has recently won Silver in the World Marmalade Awards for his orange and amaretto marmalade. Sausages and bacon come from Jones the Butcher (no, really!) in Ruthin and the free range eggs are from our own hens. Butter and milk are, of course, Welsh.

We serve fresh fruit every day and offer salmon fishcakes or Glamorgan sausages as alternatives to the traditional breakfast.
