This is wonderful walking country and, in order to help guests explore the local area, which has a fascinating history and includes the Clydach Gorge, we have provided a collection of walks which start and finish at the barn. We also have information packs of local cycle and mountain biking routes.
Apart from walking and cycling other activities in the area include caving, horse riding, paragliding, golfing and canoeing.

There is also a drying room for wet weather gear and secure storage for equipment.
A number of interesting historic and market towns are all just a few miles away including Abergavenny, Crickhowell, Monmouth and Hay on Wye.
Cardiff, the capital of Wales, is only an hour away by car but there is also a rail link. You can drive to the seaside at The Gower Peninsula in one and a half hours. Alternatively explore the World Heritage site of Blaenavon which is on the doorstep and the beautiful County of Monmouthshire with its rolling hills and wonderful castles.
