Llys Llywelyn

Enjoying an excellent location for summer beach holidays and relaxing winter escapes, this attractive little cluster of cottages has been newly created from a range of traditional 19th century stone farm buildings to offer warm, compact, modern and comfortable holiday accommodation.

Set in pleasant countryside just 200 yards from a sandy beach, 4 miles from the surfers' resort of Rhosneigr and Cable Bay, a host of exciting activities including wind and kite surfing, sailing, diving, kayaking and a flying school, they are also ideally placed for the many lively family attractions of the island. Beaumaris Castle, Sea World, a butterfly farm, children's farm park, a racing circuit, a chocolate factory and wonderful boat rides to see puffins or for fishing all promise great days out.
There is an RSPB seabird centre nearby as well as glorious coastal walking with stunning views to enjoy (a walking festival route even starts from the gate) and quiet roads are a delight for cyclists (cycles are available for hire at Llys Llewelyn). Golf, riding, fishing, tennis and a sports centre with an indoor swimming pool are all found within a short drive. Day trips to Ireland are easily accessible from Holyhead (20 miles) whilst the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia and their fine outdoor pursuits are about 18 miles away.

Visitors to Llys Llewelyn cottages enjoy the convenience of a café serving snacks and delicious homemade cakes, a laundry offering a washing, drying and ironing service (extra charge) and each cottage boasts a digital box with internet access (extra charge for internet use). A gift shop and exhibition gallery are planned for 2006. Village shop and pub 100 yards, choice of shops, pubs, takeaways and restaurants in Rhosneigr, 4 miles.

Getting There:
Llys Llewelyn is only 10 minutes drive off the A55 dual carriageway which runs through the Isle of Anglesey. Situated in the edge of small rural village Aberffraw, minutes from unspoilt beaches and vast commons. Activities such as horse riding, watersports, ancient monument sighting and even car racing at Anglesey Circuit situated just a mile away are all in abundance.
