Built among the ruins of 12th Century Llanthony Priory, and set in the most beautiful valley in the Black Mountains, this self-catering wing of The Court Farmhouse was originally home to the Prior himself.
More modern comforts now await you, with log fires and large comfortable rooms looking out to the mountains on every side. Deep countryside, heavenly views, ancient peace. (Sleeps 4/5.)
Surrounded by sheep farming country, we farm 270 acres in a traditional manner - our pedigree herd of Hereford cattle and cross-bred Welsh Mountain ewes graze on herb-rich grassland, the streams and dingles that run through the farm grow watercress, and the hedgerows are rich in wildlife.
Step out of the ancient oak studded door of the farmhouse straight into superb walking country with miles of mountain and moorland before you. Buzzards fly above the red sandstone 'cliffs' of the Darren where the peregrine falcon also nests, and the raven's croak can be heard on the wilder parts of the mountain.
